Hi hi! I'm Katie

From starting your business to scaling for growth, I help multi-passionate small business owners with business strategy, marketing automation, and all the messy middle mindset and focus fumbles that pop up along the way.

Actually, what I really do is magic. And with it comes a quirky, fun and kind of sarcastic sometimes, but super intentional mishmash of skills, heart and experience.

Yep, I love to do all that nitty gritty tech stuff most business owners want to skip over but is necessary to be able to focus on doing what they love.

I love working with like-hearted people who are passionately determined to give back and are striving for our childhood dream to heal the world.

This all started because I got super annoyed.

I did what I was told growing up. I got good grades, went to college, got a job, got married, got a house, got 2 cats, got a 6 figure salary at a big tech company, blah blah blah. I had arrived. On paper, a success! That's the American dream, right?

But it all just felt so fake and empty and exhausting!

Despite all the exciting 'Lean In' chatter (I actually worked at FB as a strategic partnership development manager in Sheryl Sandberg's organization when her book was published!), the pressures of capitalism and patriarchy still held me down and spat me out of the corporate setting. Even in a much smaller education focused tech startup, where I was hired to do the work of 5 people, I still had to contend with bro culture and was never fully taken seriously.

So I dropped out of the workforce, focused on makin' babies and reorganizing the house for a while, and swore to myself that I'd show them all ... someday.

A few years ago I decided to formally start a business to regain my confidence, prove my worth, and put that college degree + 10 years of online marketing experience to good use. What you're seeing here is the 4th iteration of 'my business' and my like... 8th niche? I like solving new problems, what can I say.

Buuuut, the most surprising and delightful side effect of this journey so far has been finding myself and some relief from my energy crushing existential anxiety!!!

If there's one thing you take away from seeing this, knowing me or working with me, let it be this: It's not just your business you get to choose wonderful things for, it's your LIFE too!

*since i intended to design this page to actually represent my personality more than just blindly following some template or "marketing best practices", i'm typing like this to give you a taste of how i usually show up :). i guess i have low patience for proper sentence formatting?
